One particularly valuable source that proved extremely helpful in the course of our research was the extensive database created by Dr. Aleksandra Bańkowska, "Jewish Social Welfare Institutions and Facilities in the General Government, 1939–1944".
The database was created in 2018 as a supplementary source for the publication Jewish Social Welfare Institutions and Facilities in the General Government from 1939 to 1944. A Preliminary Study. It contains information on more than 3,500 Jewish social welfare institutions and facilities in the General Government, including those in Kraków. Based on this source, it was possible to identify or verify the connections of several dozen individuals with such institutions in Kraków.
